Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania. He has nearly 40 years’ experience in the commercial vegetable seed industry and many decades’ experience in pumpkin breeding.

In addition to pumpkin breeding, Jamie enjoys studying American history, and collecting vintage American history textbooks.
